Would you participate in a swap if I organized one? What would you be interested in swapping?
I loved this book…I can’t wait to quilt something! She made it seem so easy.

And this book was interesting but I’m still off wondering how to zentangle:

Do you have any ideas for how I could increase the level of contrast between the ‘H’ and the lighter background?

Um….i can’t sew but you knew that. Contrast-wise, maybe repeat the darker purple of the ribbon? Dunno how….just going with my scrapbooking eye.
Do you feel comfortable enough to hand/machine stitch arund the “H” in a contrasting color?
I’m not very good at swaps, since my scant 1/4 is a constant work in progress.
Like your “H” holder helper. On my Flickr, [TorieQWQ] I have pix of my son and husband laying out one of my latest quilts. Son is very good at holding them up, too
All the best.
I just bought Angela’s book and Leah Day’s FMQ book this past week…. LOVE THEM BOTH. I am finding bunches of ideas to use….. it is so much fun.

This is probably redundant but I would love to swap. Pouches, blocks, pincushions, mug rugs…
I have never heard of zentangle. What is it?
Angela’s book looks so great! I have hers and Natalia Bonner’s on my wish list.
You’ve probably already finished the mini-quilt, but I had a couple of thoughts. First, I wonder if dense background filler quilting around the H would make it show up more. Or, what about using paint sticks to color up the H some more? I couldn’t commit to a swap. My skills are lacking as is time.
