Hi Kelley,

It is so refreshing to hear about your adventures as a young woman, quilting with 2 children! I wish I had started quilting when I was younger (started sewing when I was 11 ish and only started quilting 2 years ago).

I love that you have a wish list .... I actually made a spreadsheet of my projects and wishes ... I have a completed list on the top and the wish projects on the bottom. It is neat to see what I have finished and the ones to look forward to stitching. One of the items that you mentioned on your wish list ... the silk crazy quilt ... I am making one with my hobbies and favorite places/cities; I love handwork and am including all the different ones that I have learned on mine including beading. Another spin on the crazy quilt ... if you save scraps of clothing from your daughter (and/or son) and mementos/photos, etc. Then years down the road, you could put them together as a memory crazy quilt, stitch the pretty stitches and add embellishments for when they graduate grammar or high school. Just a thought ... I am working on a college graduation quilt for my son and have bookshelves with books he has read/made a difference amongst the seal of his school, etc. It resembles a stained glass kind of quilt since each is framed with the same dark brown fabric and crazy square or rectangles are different sizes. I also like the red and white quilt idea ... Thank you for your podcasts!

Hi! I am enjoying listening to your podcast. Could you e-mail me the link to the tea cozy tutorial. I can't seem to find it and I think I would like to make one for a friend.

Keep podcasting!

My wishlist:

New York Beauty - paperpieced, love those points.
Carpenters Wheel - DH is a carpenter.
APQS Longarm - preferrably Millenium, still saving, currently have a shortarm.
Anything Miniature - my first quilting project love is miniatures.
QOVs - 2 in progress. DH is retired Navy.

Oh so many more things but those floated to the top instantly while walking and listening earlier this week.

Your coat looks great! My wish list-red and white schoolhouse, blue and white ocean wave, amish trip around the world, several quilts by Bonnie Blue and by Primitives by Lynda. I just really want to live long enough to finish up some of my ufo's!

Hi Kelley! Glad to see you posted a new show.

On my site you will see I did a Hearts and Gizzards quilt and I did it all by hand.

On my wish list: Medaillion quilt, paper piecing, red work, whole cloth, trapunto (not sure if I spelled that right), grandma's flower garden (by hand), Dear Jane, landscape, and something with a lot of embelleshment.

Show is great - keep it up.
