Episode 61 – Annie Smith returns!

–Alert–Alert–Alert: Kelley is having a nerd moment…because OMG, fellow podcast listeners! Have you seen that Annie Smith of Annie’s Quilting Stash has returned?!

Here is the mini-quilt I made for the quilt guild auction:

The Husband graciously agreed to model but is refusing to come out from behind it.

My new quilting desk is assembled and set up with my machine *on* it! I took a picture of it with my iPod but darned if I can’t figure out how to get the photo out of the iPod and onto my hard drive. How does a programmer get to be so technically unsavvy? Ok, so I broke down and used my real camera. Isn’t it cool? The Husband is super-duper!

You can click here to listen to (or download, if you right-click and choose ‘save as’) the show. Don’t forget to leave me a comment and say hi. Thank you for listening and have a great day!

  1. Lucky! You get a sewing table! :) someday…
Your little quilt is super cute! How do you make those blocks?

  2. Torie says:

My surreal moment was hearing you say “Duke,” and whipping my head around. I went to Duke University and had cats named Devil and Duchess.

I know all about being aware of children’s needs. I am not a person who wants to strike out on her own from a safe job, but I feel the pressure we all do to keep the children in a good place. I am the oldest of seven and know how my parents struggled. Education was paramount to them and to us.

    All the best.
