Here are a few pictures of the fabric that I dyed with the Snow Dye method that I read about in Quilter’s Newsletter. The above stack is 7 different 1 yard pieces. You can see they range from pink to blue-green to orange.
This last piece has that tie-dye look, but I also see something in it. Do you see it?
How about now? Ya, it is a stretch. I know. :)
I used Procion dyes from the Dharma Trading Company and the colors I used were Turquise, lemon yellow, and a shade of red that was a sample so I’m not sure what it was.
It was great fun, you should give it a try if you live somewhere with snow. The only bummer part was the amount of washing the fabric required afterwards. Maybe I used too much dye!










I like all of them, but the tie-dye one was my favorite. I like the splash of blue and green in it.
I saw the angel pretty quickly.
